This webinar will provide general information on how to care for a child with a feeding tube.

Target Audience

Unregulated care providers in Ontario working in home and community care settings.

Objectives

1. Describe what it means to be an unregulated care provider​
2. Describe different types of feeding tubes and their location in the body 
3. Explain the routine care of a feeding tube
4. Describe how to recognize something is wrong with the feeding tube or the skin around it 
5. Outline how to keep a child with a feeding tube safe

This course is broken up into a series of videos and a final quiz. All videos must be watched and Marked Complete and a score of 80% achieved on the quiz to complete the course.
